In the Barrios and the Big Leagues / En los barrios y las grandes ligas, this talk explores the impact of Hispanic and Latino players in Tampa, focusing on the family ties and community connections that shaped their stories on and off the field.\nJoshua Weaver, Curator of the Tampa Baseball Museum, shares insights into the people behind the game and the generations that supported them. Expect a closer look at how culture, family, and baseball come together in Tampa’s history.\nDoors open at 6pm. The presentation begins at 6:30pm in the Planetarium.\nPreregistration required.\nFree for Members; $5 for Non-Members.\nBeer, wine, and concessions are available for purchase.\nSeating in the Planetarium is on a first-come, first-served basis.\nFull refunds are available only until 48 hours before showtime.\nNo refunds or exchanges will be granted within 48 hours of the event.\n
