About The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature Largest Natural & Cultural History Museum Includes the all-digital Planetarium and the Parker Manatee Rehabilitation Habitat
As the largest natural and cultural history museum on Florida's Gulf Coast, The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature offers engaging exhibits as well as educational programs that interpret the scientific and cultural knowledge of Florida, the world, and our universe. In addition to permanent exhibits, the Museum features a constantly changing lineup of temporary exhibitions — offering something new to discover with each visit!

The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature is open from 10am to 3pm, Wednesday through Saturday with entry times at 10-11am, 11am-noon, noon-1pm and 1-2pm (Last entry at 2pm) | Noon to 5pm on Sunday with entry times at noon-1pm, 1-2pm, 2-3pm and 3-4pm (Last entry at 4pm) | Closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Please note: Currently, the manatee habitat is empty as we undergo renovations. We expect to re-open the habitat and begin caring for manatees again later this Spring.
