We host think + drink / science from 7 to 9pm on the second Wednesday of each month. The program opens as the day’s expert begins the evening with a presentation then we open the floor for discussion during this interactive webinar on Zoom.

“Out of Sight! The Totally Tubular History of the Telescope and Microscope”

Telescopes and microscopes enable us to see beyond the naked eye and to explore the wonders of the universe and microscopic world. Join presenter Dr. David Berry, Associate Director of Academic Affairs and Special Projects at the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, as we trace the development of these remarkable inventions from novelty items to scientific instruments used to make some of the most important scientific discoveries in history!

think + drink/science is sponsored by WUSF, a corporate partner of The Bishop.
