Sidewalk Astronomy
Join us under the stars for a night of delicious bites and celestial sites!
We have partnered with the Local Group of Deep Sky Observers (LGDSO) to bring Sidewalk Astronomy to The Bishop. At this FREE event, you’ll have a chance to see planets, constellations, moons, and maybe some deep-sky objects through powerful telescopes.
We’ve also partnered with several local food trucks so you can enjoy a bite while observing the universe. Drinks, including water, soda, wine, and beer, will be available for purchase.
In addition to telescopes and tacos, you’ll have a chance to see The Bishop’s Planetarium show, Two Small Pieces of Glass-The Amazing Telescope at 7:00,7:30, and 8:00 p.m. for just $3.00 a person. The Planetarium shows are free for members. Our spectacular Museum Store will be open as well until 8:30.
But wait—There’s more! Three space enthusiasts will get a chance to go home with 4-packs of tickets to attend the Space Night with the Marauders at LECOM Park on June 13, 2025
We look forward to seeing you at this special free event!
