HAVE FUN, MEET NEW PEOPLE, AND ENRICH YOUR LIFE!
Volunteering at The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature
At The Bishop, volunteers play an integral role in helping the staff and board of directors achieve our mission “to engage and inspire learners of all ages; we protect, interpret, and communicate scientific and cultural knowledge of Florida, the world, and our universe.”
You will join other great volunteers and staff as you develop your knowledge of Florida’s natural and cultural history, the environment, manatee conservation and care, and our universe as a whole, while making a real difference in our community and in the lives of our visitors. Volunteer benefits include 10% off Museum store purchases and the ability to earn free passes to the Museum. Volunteers who work 15 hours or more per year receive a free membership to the Museum.
We encourage you to explore the many volunteer opportunities at The Bishop and discover ways you can share your knowledge and love of learning with our visitors. Please print, complete, and mail or email this application. Volunteer positions are limited and applicants will be called on an as-needed basis. Thank you for your interest and understanding!
