Two new manatees — Felicia and Doscal — arrived at The Bishop’s Parker Manatee Rehabilitation Habitat on Sept. 25 to gain weight and receive pre-release conditioning before their return to the wild. The South Florida Museum said a fond farewell to Tannebaum the manatee on Nov. 5 as he returned to the wild 11 months after an entanglement in dock line nearly severed his tail. On Tuesday, March 27, the At The Bishop welcomed two new patients to its Stage 2 Manatee Rehabilitation Aquarium: ONeil and Tannebaum. And on Wednesday, March 28, they were joined by Baca who returned to the Museum after a month at SeaWorld.
